It will never be possible, i am not saying it's impossible but it will need alot of time to code and they will have to code each game,it will never happen, also the processor things have to be changed to fit in the ps3, again i think its impossible

There could be made an emulator for the old xbox, but then it needs to be completely software emulated. What the easiest thing could be is... take an existing emulator (I don't know if it exists, but if...) linux preferred, make a linux distribution which uses full hardware as in all the cpu cores and the ram and then run the emulator on it. And that would be close to impossible

I think there right it's close to impossible. The xbox 360 uses software to play xbox games though. And you can download the emulator for the 360 from xbox.com. So all dev's would have to do is get the emulator to run on the ps3.

It's not impossible. If you can code a Nintendo system to run on the ps3 you can code an xbox one to do the same. The only reason it's impossible to "play" a game on the ps3 is because of the disc types. You can play Ps2 and xbox on the computer already, it's only a matter of time before someone gets unlazy or bored :P

I do think this is probably possible but "Unworkable".
The xbox had an x86 (pentium 3 i believe) processor.

the xbox 360 is probably more likely as it uses a powerpc chip.
i think the wii uses the same.
i play wii games on my pc and it runs them fine

Anything is possible with computing knowlage it just requires a lot of time, $$$ And know how.

That's why its best to own all systems with multiple vga outputs or many t.v's o.O. An emulator just makes for more piracy anyway...Sooo break out the 50 pound pile of trash box and lets play Useless Exclusives .
