PS3SX (PSX Emu) Blackscreen on startup? Solution Inside!

Well there are some things that could cause the blackscreen:

1. Your USB HDD/Stick must be in the right USB port. (usb000)
Plug your JB device in the left one and your HDD/Stick in the right one.

2. Use the same port for JB and HDD/Stick
some people reported that they need to use the right USB port only, so plug in your JB Device in your right USB port and start your PS3, when you are in the XMB plug it out and plug in your HDD/Stick.

3. Your Payload is too new:
You have to use an older one. ,,PSGroove KaKaRoTo PL3" works fine for me.

1. Go to http://www.project0.de/psgroove-maker/
2. select ,,PSGroove KaKaRoTo PL3" then hit next.
3. Choose your device in that "Use predefined Boards:" drop down menu. Hit Build
4. Download the hex file and Flash it on your device!

Thanks mate it works. Also I have found that hermes v4b with psn also works. U cant go on psn anymore but it works for me with ps3sx. Find it here http://www.project0.de/psgroove-maker/

I use the 1st method of Jailbreaking using the Far Right Hand Port and then taking it out and putting the USB Memory Stick in afterwards. Sometimes it works, Sometimes it locks up. The emulation you can see is at very early stages. Only a couple of games I have tried have kinda worked normally. Others have either ran at warp speed or the GFX have been completely Glitched Up.

Other Way is push right, right some seconds after start the emulator.

Sounds crazy, but i made this way and for me works.

I take it this is no longer being developed? Shame if not. I have a Slim PS3 now and cannot play PS1 games on it
