    I have a 60GB PS3 with 4 USB ports i heard ps2 and ps1 emulation is possible however i have no source of getting these emulators-- help will be highly appreciated!
    -PS3 120GB Slim
    -Gaia Manager
    -Love Perspex + Blazie!

    Well ll usually ask Questions first but your ps3 can already play PS2 ans PS1 Games you dont need an emulator

    just put the game in the system....

    I love how he don't mention how his system is JailBroken or that he needs that Article you posted or Why he even posted this topic

    lol, the only reason why I know is because i saw that article yesterday and got excited because i thought it was for slim ps3 too, but I read it and saw it was only for fat ps3s.

    lol me to that topic pissed me off much though i wish sony would just make the ps2 emulation possible so we can all move on

    That linked thread is from the early days of jailbreaking. If you have a backwards compatible unit and your running current cfw, you can play ps1/ps2 games legit from original disc. If your trying to play backups, you need to burn em and use the disc swap method. Nothing has changed. There is no emulation being done.

    There is no need for you to use emulators(and they are non-existent). As far as I know, your PS3 should be backwards compatible as my old 4-port 80GB PS3 was backwards compatible. Your PS3 is a 60GB model which is even older than the 80GB model so you should be able to play original PS2 games; PS1 games are already compatible. As blazie151 already mentioned, if you want to play backups you have to use the disk swapping method.
