I don't understand all the people demanding N64, PS2, Dreamcast, etc. emulation

Wow, I thought I was the only one on here that remembered games that old. There was a pc driver that allowed the rotating controller to be used after splicing it to usb; could be implemented in an emu. I never played any 7800 games. The Atari 2600 was actually already a relic before I ever touched it. Hell, when the 7800 was released I was 1, lol. There's still 2 2600s somewhere in my mom's house, lmao.

I was only a couple years from "growing pubes" when we got our 2600 when it first came out. Never got the 7800 as I was already into computers when it hit the market and had no interest in video game consoles. I donated the TI-99/4A (still working with the functional cassette player "hard drive") to a computer museum 6 or 7 years ago.

Being a gamer doesn't depend on what you play or how you play it as long as its being played

Spend 3 days playing Pong with yourself and only then may you call yourself a gamer

At least I had a couple sisters to play Pong with (I did play with myself quite often though ).

I see what your saying about psx/n64/ps2/dc emulation but i tried those systems on my pc and i must say even though ps2 emulation is not @ 100% but id say somewhere roughly in the 90's with a decent pc rig, the hd overhaul is quite visually pleasing and with all the hd enhanced ps2 ports that have come out for the ps3, I think with dedicated enough devs they can achieve 100% full emulation with the psx/n64/ps2/dc like older cartridge based emus......(even using graphical enhancments like on their pc emu counterparts)
