I agree. I think it the best thing that has happen with emulators today so far is the NES & SNES + FBAnext HD shader (4xSoft-HD) with NO graphical errors. I still think it's possible for devs to do the same for N64, PS2, DC.
The PS2 emulator looks hardest, but someone will get it working right sooner or later, if they spare the time at this point.

Thank you for the mature response, I hope you are right.

Why do I want a DC and N64 Emu? Simple. I would love my PS3 to be an Ultimate Emulation Machine as well as a PS3 Games machine.
There are some legendary DC games I can play without having to get the DC out, hook it up to the VGA Cable round the back of my 50" Plasma.
N64 obviously a LOT worse.... Scart connection = crud looking picture on a 50" Plasma.

LMAO. You want a good old snes game, Chrono Trigger is where it's at. There was actually just a fan made remake leaked onto the net that was supposed to be released by the same company that released the original. Didn't get online 'till January 2011. Go figure, a "new" snes game in 2011. I haven't played it yet, but its on my list. It's called Crimson Echoes.

I've known about Chrono Trigger since it came out. Just like Chrono Cross (which I still own for PSX).
Secret of Evermore I felt was a tad bit better. Storyline was kinda linear, but the game mechanics is what sucked me in years ago.

I just can't believe a remake is available. From what I've heard it's like a whole new game.
Well, you sound at least as old as me, let's try going back a little farther, lol. When we gonna get an Atari 2600 Emulator on this system? I want some old school Space Invaders and Journey Escape, lol.

PS3 controller is too complex for an Atari 2600. But I guess it would make do, consider there was the power switch, select switch, reset switch...and can't remember what the 4 switch was. I'll have to pull that down out of the attic to look at it again.
There's just one problem...playing Pong is no fun unless you have the rotating dial controller! lol
If I remember correctly, there were games that wouldn't work with the joystick that later came out in the newer models.
Here's a bizarre bit of information...the 2600 could actually play 7800 games without a problem.
