We should all just listen to Srimok's advice and tell all the developers to not even bother. Go crawl under a bridge, dipshit.
    Troll yah right

It doesn't matter to me I just don't understand why people waste so much mental energy demanding something that will never happen.

"You should be thankful that these developers are taking their time to program these emulators for your benefit."

I am incredibly thankful you seemed to have missed the point entirely

Point me to a console that emulates N64 even reasonably well... you can't. Some people have even noted how the PSP can emulate it well, Yah 15fps without audio they are kind of proving my point.

"Go crawl under a bridge, dipshit."

Yah well that was really a necessary addition and I'm the troll right?

My final point was all these consoles can't even be emulated to an acceptable standard on the pc. I don't understand how everyone thinks I am knocking all the old console when That is the majority of what I play. I can't stand the current selection of PS3 titles, All ridiculous shoot em ups and nothing where an ounce of creativity was put in to it. You can assume my original post was just hating on everything but I didn't intend for it to be that way. To everyone I welcome you to bump this thread to make me look stupid when you are playing your emulated 1080p N64 games at 60 fps flawlessly.

There are full-speed emulators with large compatibility support specifically for the N64, Gamecube, and Dreamcast. Dolphin, a Gamecube emulator runs at full-speed with a lot of hardware processing like AA and such that make the games look phenomenal on a 1080p screen. The exception being the PS2 since last time I checked only a handful of games ran full-speed. And yeah, you're a troll. The fact that you're now bashing the PS3 game selection when the thread was originally about emulation, just proves it even further. Just thought I should throw the last breadcrumb at ya. kthnxbye!

I don't like shitty shoot em ups how does that make me a troll? I am only going to speak for what I have experience with and that is n64 emulation on Pc, Wii, and PSP. PC works like 80% well for like 60% of the games and the rest have massive slow down, are glitchy, or don't run at all. The Wiis emulation sucks ass and the PSP is the worst of all. Anything past the SNES is impossible to emulate to a point of it being enjoyable. Hate on me all you want buy you know it is true.

That list is obviously outdated. Wind Waker is listed as having in-game graphical glitches/crashing yet I'm playing it perfectly fine@1080p and there are videos of various games running smoothly on YouTube. I'm not claiming the compatibility list to be near perfect but a lot of the great titles are emulated very well. Like a lot of us said already: You're a troll. Let's all walk away now...1...2...3...gone!

Except for the 6th gen consoles(outside Dreamcast), the PS3 can emulate all consoles. If you have a powerful pc, you can emulate even the PS2! I heard there is also a Wii emulator? It all comes down how strong your pc is, if it is strong enough you can emulate whatever you want.

I've run the N64 emulator on my 2007 laptop without problems, glitches or lag.

Even the psp can run a N64 emu without much problems, if you disable sound there is no lag.

Point is, if even the PSP can almost emulate N64, what makes you think PS3 won't? N64 on the PS3 will be even better with a HD resolution.

PS2 emulation on PC is horrible. I just dled Dolphin to educate myself on the topic, While impressive to see in high resolution 2 out of 8 games worked near perfectly, 4 were glitchy, and 2 didn't run. The PSP cannot emulate the n64 decently even without sound.

Yes Wind Waker is impressive that doesn't change the fact that a large number of the games do not function correctly. I have just tested this myself. You're a name calling immature twat. Let's all walk away now...1...2...3...gone!
