Wow, I thought I was the only one on here that remembered games that old. There was a pc driver that allowed the rotating controller to be used after splicing it to usb; could be implemented in an emu. I never played any 7800 games. The Atari 2600 was actually already a relic before I ever touched it. Hell, when the 7800 was released I was 1, lol. There's still 2 2600s somewhere in my mom's house, lmao.Quote:

2. The PSP has a Hardware similar to the N64 , thats because it can be emulated , LOL , 64-bit cpu (Nintendo 64) architecture and 32-bit CPU (PSP) will never be similar

The ps3 can emulate every console before it except the 360....... With that being said I don't know why some on here are saying the ps2 can't be emulated when launch consoles came with hardware bc and the american mgs4 80gig bundle came with software bc. Its up to non- ps3 devs (or even a ps3 dev who doesnt care and works on an emu on the side LOL) to develop working emus of past consoles on the ps3. Now it would be interesting to see a working (and hopefully made to run most games @ fullspeed) emu for the original xbox on the ps3 or windows pc....... Don't know if theres a fullspeed emu for the dreamcast on pc????? but 1 for the ps3 would be nice and maybe even gc/wii emu. Hopefully with support for external hdd loading :) I would just want a ps2 emu if it could fix some of the problems games have on the software bc ps3s.......
well I for one enjoy playing these old games. although i will admit to looking at them now playing on a big flat screen and thinking my god thats blocky :)

it took years to craft games on the ps1 and N64 and they were games that lasted weeks they had no hints or guide books those were epic games, today you'll find games like CoD or anything similar with 2 hours of gameplay and a horrible online community who want nothing but the ability to call someone els a cheater because they got hit by a laggy bullet i wonder why it took years for this crap to be made with Modern development
