Can I play a downloaded megaman x collection for pc on my ps3? Newbie, Please hel

Hello all

I just bought a used (pawn shop) PS3 slim about a year ago and am enjoying everything it has to offer. I recently bought and downloaded the Megaman 9 and 10 and had a blast. But it left me longing for Megaman x. I searched and found that there was a megaman x collection for the ps2 but my PS3 slim will not play ps2 games. I was devestated. But then I found a download for a Megaman x PC collection and am currently downloading it now. Now I was wondering, since I have an external HD that I use for playing movies on my PS3, is it possible to download it on to the external and somehow play the games on my ps3 and TV. Here is all the info on what I am downloading:

Can you all please help me? I would have bought it if I could but I dont have a ps2 anymore, and I really don't want to try to use a keyboard to play these favorites of mine. Like I said I am new to this so try to explain as easily as possible. However I am no fool, and I am sure if you show me how I can do it. Thank you all for all your help!

Short answer is no you cannot. Simply put, a PS3 is not a PC and will not play PC games.

I haven't messed with linux on my ps3 but I assume you wouldn't be able to make it work through that either.
