Rogero + Dead Rising 2 + Questions

I am using waninkoko's 3.55 CFW. Using Rogero 3.55 or 3.41, its v7.8

The ONLY issue ive had is on Deadrising 2 is after when you get your daughter and the zombies attack then you have to work you way out of arena, right when you open door to "the strip" it freezes.

Now, besides on how to fix that.. what is all this talk about LV2 patching etc etc.

What does it do, and why do I need it? Ive been running back ups fine.
