Good afternoon,
answer me one thing, can I have a PS3 but with 2 HDs, one of the drives with firmware 3.55 jailbreak , and another HD with firmware 3.61?
Another thing, I can back up my saved games to transfer to another HD?
Thanks

omg not again...
even i [noob] know that the FW is located in NAND or something like this so the harddrive doesnt affect the FW, did you really think SONY would be that stupid?
and yes if you use the backup utility or copy them with MultiMan manually
I've seen a tutorial how to do this here, will try to find it..
hard drives are just hard drives they aren't dedicated to any fw once they are used on some machine. Do you hear people say,"oh! my hdd wont work on your windows 7 since i use windows XP". No you dont, because thats not the case. Same way the ps3 firmware is not located on the HDD.

That's why I asked if I knew the answer need not have asked.
You have to understand - as someone who is now 22 and used to love forums, the continuous same questions that have been answered a million times i quite annoying - and in reality, stops the people who have real knowledge even checking out the "help section" because they cannot be assed to copy paste the same answer another 500 times.
Some tips to avoid you getting blammed in the future, as I don't think yelling at people is particularly the right approach:
1. Google is your best friend. Literally type "PS3 CFW" and you will see tonnes of guides, youtube videos and forum sites dedicated to what you want to find out. You can even Google the actual question like "Can PS3 use 2 firmwares with 2 harddrives" just looking now after typing that the whole first page is full up with the same answer you got here.
2. If that doesn't work use the forums search button. Guaranteed to have the same result.
Good luck!
