jailbreak help

hi im trying to jailbreak my v3.60 ps3
im reading this http://psgroove.com/showthread.php?1...5-run-homebrew guide
im stuck on the 1st thing to do, installing v3.55 firmware
my 2gig kingston usb drive is formatted in FAT32 i have tried to install the firmware via hard reset and under system update, hard reset says the fire is corrupt and system update says no files
the file is in PS3/UPDATE/file here
can anyone help?

You can't downgrade your ps3 without jailbreaking it (Version ?-3.55 ) if your PS3 is already on 3.60 you are f'ed (well, you have to wait a while for a 3.60 Jailbreak) so you don't need to try that

you cant put it back to 3.55 once its on 3.60 your FEKED

because no one has (officialy) jailbroken his 3.60 PS3/found the keys for it because of some weird sh.. brown goin on with the .. well i dont know, read the news of the past 3 weeks and you will know whats up
