On the video at the link it doesn't say 5.5 but 3.55 and 5.5 doesn't exists.

But I don't know, it sounds like maybe he is bullshiting a little with the 3.50 and 3.55 being hackable. He just seem to want to show how you can jailbreak ps3 with an ipod not more than that. He's not even showing it on the video on which firmware he is on. Even if he claims it working on 3.55 that he tested it and everything. I would need a little bit of more proves to believe what he is saying. Specially that this 3.50/3.55 hack been the subject of the scene alot lately and none really proved exactely their concept. So until no one really proves it can work with 3.50/3.55 (without those spoofing bullshits) I will not even bother pushing hopes in it.

Bullshit. This video was shown for 3.41 originally (which is fine) then copied and pasted with 3.42 info put on it... (Bullshit) now the same has been done again and a bunch of Fakers have put comments saying (oh god it works!! thanks!)..... Yet when you try and post a comment it needs approval. Do what I did and post that its fake bullshit and doesnt work and your comment wont get approved...
