Help a noob with 3.41 to hack his ps3

Hi, i have a ps3 3.41, a regular 4gb pen drive and an internet connection.

How could i hack my ps3 or jailbreak with that things? i don't know the difference.
I just want to install that ftp thing and install applications.. that kind of things.
I use the ps3 mainly for watching movies

i know of a good site that has everything you need for jailbreaking your ps3 with very easy to follow guides. the only thing is i dont think im allowed to post the link, because when i did it said "waiting for approval from moderator lol. but anyways, you have a message
