Going to downgrade my 60gb PS3, need preperation help.

Was active here for a little, probably going to stay active if I downgrade. Going to buy whatever I need in September. I can do with a bunch of screwing and clipping and stuff, not going to do anything that requires soldering. I do see that there's solder less things around but all the E3 Progskreet stuff is unbelievable unfriendly for a beginner. I know that I can downgrade me PS3, it's from 2007, and right now at 4.11. I never touch my PS3 after I got bored of MW2 in multi-player (yes, I updated like a fool, actually had cfw in 3.55 before.)

So basically, here's what I need to know;
-Which flashing thing do I need?
-Does it require any soldering?

You need the dungle E3 flasher, the pack have everything you need, no solder! but its not user friendly( what is? ;P) youtube have videos about it

Thanks for the reply, I looked more into it and I see that my PS3 is CHECHC or something which can be downgraded by only Progskeet. Where the hell do I get this?

I think after I know what to get I can pretty much find my own way now.

Thanks a lot, looks like it still requires soldering, not that I can't do that, but I lack the tools and the trust of my brother and dad to do that. Unless theres a 100% no soldering way, I will just have to find someone to do it for me. sighh

I don't think it's much soldering with the nand clips, but you can get someone from here to do it for you for way less than you'd spend on the tools and no worry about killing you'r ps3.
