yeah, yours also still works to jailbreak the ps3 but cannot update the dongle?
yea, I have done a lot of research of this dongle. I opened it and the chip is 'atmega16a' which means this is kind of Dead Dongle. I dont know why Eclips3 team doesn't update the software. I only can flash it with 1.2 discless hex but not any other hex. Difficult to flash a booter into the chip.

However this doesn't work for me
try using flip software because according to this thread http://psx-scene.com/forums/f178/hex...usb-key-67476/ there is a atmel chip in the Eclipse so try loading it in flip as a at90usb162 and use a hex for a at90usb162

Edit : Either i'm doing something wrong or with flip it isn't working either as i cannot select any options within flip at all :(
