downgrade ofw 3.56 to 3.55

just wondering is the a way 2 downgrade from 3.56 to 3.55 its not for me just a friend asked me is there a way and if not will it ever happen would really appreciate if someone can help me with this thank you

wasn't for me it was a mate it doesn't bother me cos my ps3 is on 3.55

Well though you got an answer: There is currently no way of downgrading any Firmware above 3.55

Actually there is a way to downgrade, but it requires having an Infectus chip wired to your ps3's flash and a flash dump of your ps3 on the firmware you want to go to. There is apparently a way to downgrade without a previous dump of your ps3 according to mathieulh, but it is unconfirmed and is probably much easier to just sell the ps3 and buy another one on a lower firmware.

Everyone should know about that method by now mathieulh is a virus and all his findings are the cure to bad the government wants us to pay for useless medication when they have the antidote right in our faces....

But no one wants to take the risk unless your TRULY on the ropes and NEED to pirate something juicy
