hello guys I had the firmware geohot by 3:55 and I wanted to install the new Waninkoko.i went on recovery mode and update the system and I put the stick with cf and I let it install but after it had installed sie off the console and not sie switched help help help help help help help help help help help help
Do you have a Phat or Slim, and what model # and hard drive size do you have?
You should have gone into recovery mode and flashed back to OFW 3.55 before attempting to upgrade to Waninkoko's CFW. That aside, I saw this link on the pimpmyself news article here on psgroove. Might help you.
I take no credit or resposibility for this one. It looks like it'll work to recover a bricked console. Its a modified lvl2.self file that might get your PS back up and running.
I have the phat, and he have 40gb
Try out that method. If you don't read spanish use google translator on that link I gave you above AND BE SURE TO POST YOUR RESULTS. Alot of people are impatiently waiting for a brick fix and that link may contain the holy grail.
Unless you have no dongle capable of service mode, in which case you'll have to wait and see if anyone comes up with another fix, but I doubt it. I think the only chance of a fix is with the dongle simulating a service jig.
blazie151, I can confirm naima lv2diag.self doesn't work for my waninkoko brick. I tried with iPhone service jig so power was not an issue.
but my console cant turns and cant enters in recovery mode.
i can fix it???????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????
Man that sucks. I only have 1 more idea then...

If it reads the momory stick slots even when the usb's are dead (like with the waninkoko brick units), maybe the naima file will work if done from a sony memory stick.
Try to enter in the recovery mod and reset your PS3 .
