hi, this morning i upgraded from 3.41 to OFW3.55 then to Geohots CFW3.55. but i had problems installing blackbox (gave an error) so i went back to the OFW3.55 from the recovery mode. then reinstalled CFW3.55 again. and it installed blackbox fine. but now i dont have my BD in the XMB? i have my red dead disk in there, it doesnt show in the game section, and i cant eject it. just beeps 3 times. ive connected to my ps3 with filezilla and i can see the "dev-bdvd" when i connect, but it gives an error when i try to few in the folder-

    Command: CWD dev_bdvd
Response: 550 Could not change directory: /
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

so im guessing that the BD drivers wernt installed correctly when i went back to OFW.

    can anyone help??

    thanks
    O

Revert to OFW using recovery mode. Then to kmeaw's cfw using recovery mode. Tutorial below.

Try it again right after a fresh boot. If that doesn't work, try rebuilding your data in recovery mode. If that doesn't work then I have no clue. A band-aid to the problem could be to use MultiMan. There are many reports saying that when you click on a blu ray from MultiMan, it mounts the blu ray and bypasses alot of errors.

if the above doesnt work and your disk is stuck you can get it out if your on a phat 40gb or 80gb. All you do isturn it off form the back, hold the eject button and flick it back on from the back. It will turn on and the fans will max out for a few seconds, then eventually it will spit out the disk.
