    Hey guys,
I've been away from the scene for a couple of months... no i saw many posts about new cfws. I want to update my "old" 3.55 kmeaw CFW to the latest one! Ist there some tutorial on the net, how to do that correctly? Is it brick secure for now? What are the benefits?

    Thanks for your help!

well 4.30 = 4.30 keys which allows you to play any game you want and not be limited by 3.55 as well as run homebrew, emulators, you gain newer features only found in OFW

I find rogero and rebug is where its at

im running rogero 4.30 v2.04 and latest multiman on a slim

to get there you must upgrade via recovery mode and enable QA flaging (qa_toggle.pkg)

then boot back into recovery and goto any 4.30 custom firmware

always do all firmware changes via recovery menu, do not use XMB!
    PS3 SLIM - 3.50 OFW> 3.55 OFW> 3.55 GEOHOT CFW> 3.55 WUTANGRZA CFW> 3.55 KMEAW CFW> 3.55 REBUG CFW> 3.55 JB2USB TB CFW> 3.55 REBUG TB CFW> 4.21 ROGERO v1.00> 4.30 ROGERO v1.03> 4.30 ROGERO 2.00> 4.30 ROGERO 2.03> 4.30 REBUG

To help clarify owen420's post, You should enable QA, then update via recovery. Though, it's not really necessary to enable QA, it's recommend to prevent bricks.
