Where am I going wrong?

Hey,

I'm using a 3.55 CFW and the only game i've managed to get working is Killzone 3 and i'm trying to work out where I am going wrong.

Lets take Motorstorm Apocalypse for example.

Download game, copy to external HDD, open up Multiman, load game and it doesn't seem to do anything, if I have a disk in the PS3 it will boot that game rather than Motorstorm.

I then found a EBOOT.bin for Motorstorm so I use Multiman to copy Motorstorm to the internal HDD and then plop the "fixed" EBOOT.bin on top of the old one via FTP but I still can't get the game to boot.

What am I missing/where am I going wrong?

try to find just the update for the game. or else you need bdemu.bin

sounds like your taking the right steps. i see the only fix for motostorm is just a EBOOT an must have disc to play.

okay so where did you put the eboot??????

the structure for the eboot file should be

GAMEZ>BCES-00484>PS3_GAME>USERDIR

so you put the eboot in the "USERDIR" folder

Noobish or not......ethical ricado (which I still find to be a strange name for a hacking site ) that deserves a +rep.
I ran Lvl2 patch and bdemu on MM as soon as it was required.......haven't looked back since!

scroll down to motorstorm apocalypse and there are two versions BLUSxxxxx and BLESxxxxx be sure you get the one for your version

It's patched to 1.03 too

well then i guess your game data is corrupted.... since you downloaded it its not really surprising now is it?
