hi, i been away from the scene for a few months now and i read there have been a lot of changes recently with geohot joining the ps3 hack revolution. my question is. with the key he released are we able to run hombrew without jailbreaking the ps3 or what does it mean.

Yes, from what we have all read, the console can run homebrew games without the use of a jailbreak. Kakaroto's CFW does the trick, the main page has all the guides and help you need.

Kakaroto's CFW ONLY runs signed code if you try to run an unsigned application then it will not run

@Goblom - Are there any signed apps or homebrew pkg files out? Eurasia has a few games, ima download and install. WIsh me luck!

No there aren't any signed pkg homebrew yet.. As I understand it they are still figuring out how to sign pkg's to install on retail systems.
