Kmeaw's cfw modifies directly in dev_flash, so if your on kmeaw's cfw already then there you go. The trick with writing to dev_flash safely is to only make the bare minimum changes (mainly peek/poke) needed for other applications (like the lvl2.pkg file) to add in there own functions (like syscall36) directly to run time memory. That's 1 of the 3 reasons you'll never see me on wan's cfw. Writing that much crap to nand is not only dangerous, it's completely unnecessary. As far as a CFW loader, I haven't seen one since 3.41. The purpose of it then was so that dev's could start tinkering around with files safely, without permanently modifying them; however, the end goal was still to write them to dev_flash once they were tested.

Just out of curiosity, why would need a CFW loader if your already on kmeaw's cfw?

Because I and my group are trying to add new language to the PS3. and This requires that no errors.

I'm scared to get Brick . Because I have one PS3

Ah, makes a ton of sense. I was wondering why you would need this.

The CFWLoad application says it only requires peek/poke syscalls enabled (already there with kmeaw's cfw) and PL3, which was used in early versions of the lvl2 app. If you were to repack the original cfwload application for 3.55, maybe it would work without changes after running the lvl2 app. I haven't looked through the code, so I'm not 100% sure, but since it only modifies run time memory and is undone with a reboot, wouldn't it be safe to try it out? I'm gonna repack it for 3.55 now, I'll post a link in a few and you can try it out if you wish.

    -removed-

I simply repacked it for installation on 3.55 cfw. Try running lvl2 first, selecting the pl3 payload, then cfwload. It will probably work. I also left the original readme and source files in the repacked version, just in case you wanted them.

Ok, that means it's looking for a syscall or a memory address that's different in 3.55. Someone with programming knowledge would have to modify it to work with 3.55. Thanks for the info, I'll pull the link now.
