Self-Professed N00B in distress - Need help with mods

Okay, so. Up until yesterday, I literally didn't know you could mod a game for ps3, so forgive me if I seem a bit ignorant with this. But how in the name of whatever you may or may not worship do I put a game mod on ps3, that I find on here? I've done as thorough a search as I can, but I'll admit I may have overlooked a tutorial on this. If I have, send me there, and if not, please help!

You can direct your question in general help, but your not providing enough info insertion of mods have different methods per game per region and is this a downloaded game game disc what it the exact game some games have a few versions like GTA , what mods are you trying to install , and there may be additional programs you need to install mods, do you have a jailbroken playstation is it spoofed to go online , you have a great common question that many have but are not providing enough information to get the answers you seek or may not even be asking in the correct place.
