Hello I am new to this site I would like to learn how to jailbreak my ps3. But I want to learn what it involves first. I have searched the forum and it seems I need to buy a dongle is that a special thing or can I use any usb key. I saw the post where it says how to decrypt your own EBOOT.BIN file.

I don't understand what any of this means. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can understand this stuff.

I also have a TI 89 calculator I read that it can be used for something as well.

k first of all to jailbreak ur ps3 U DO NOT NEED to know how decrypt EBOOTs second use this website to look at how to jailbreak ur ps3 with a ti89 http://brandonw.net/ it has a video tutorial last thing why are u jalibreaking it, what are u going to use it for i can help u more if u tell me that
