As the title says, i use 3.55 Kmeow(installed the cfw properly, used a tutorial) with 1.17.1 multiman on a phat ps3. all the BD games i have seem to be working like a charm.
The console itself does not freeze i can still return to the menu.
Games are installing to hdd0/GAMES
Also tried on Gaia, Rogero, and older versions of multiMAN and nothing seems to help :/
Also have tried to use modified eboots just pops up saying Unsupported Data.
If i missed any important detail that should've been mentioned, tell me :P

to play backups you have to install BDEMU if it isn't that... well... maybe you download a rip or something else because my backup seems to play normally

there is only two possible things that I can think of at the top of my head..
1- Check you have enough space in your hard-drive (if you do then go to the game data in the xmb and delete the file)
2- Make sure you are not loading the game from a seperate pkg file (like a game hack pkg or something)

i do have BDEMU installed, and i currently have 3 rips of the game (all are BLUS30418) and neither of them work.
there's 80gb of free space left on my hdd and no i am not running the game from a seperate pkg, althrough i did try one but it installed in the wrong place. As the game is in hdd0/GAMES it installed to hdd0/game and i also tried moving the files from that folder to GAMES and overwriting but that didnt help at all, the game just returned to the menu (wrong region maybe?)

delete the game files from both "GAMES" and "game" folders and backup again. If the game requires a 3.56 or higher firmware to run then you need to find a patch for it. (also delete the save file if any aswell)
After you have made a new fresh backup in the GAMES folder try to run it again.
(also if you're running the game without a disk in the ps3 then try it with an original PS3 game in)
