    Hi everyone

I am by no means an expert when it comes to PS stuff, so I am asking for some help. This questions is based around a certain model with a specific brick cause, so i can't do the generic recovery mode re install that has been suggested. Pleas read on if your experienced with PS3s, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I have a CECHC PHAT 60GB BC PS3. Just before the boom of 3.55 CFW, i was beta testing a custom 3.55 with a 3.41 USB blacklist file encoded in it (theoretically allowing the dongle jailbreak to work on 3.55). His instructions were to try to install it only via XMB, but i stupidly installed it via recovery Mode. Got to something like 33%, and the red light flickered from then on and was officially bricked. I have a Teensy 2.0, and i tried the LV2diag stuff, but it never went into recovery. I read recently somewhere that when it is bricked in some cases, it will enter recovery, but not show anything on screen and go into standby....allowing you on reboot to install a CFW via USb (blindly). I was wondering if this was true, or if not, are there any other methods that would work?? I am open to hard modding as i have soldering experience with PCBs. Thing is after modding and dumping the NAND, how would one go about fixing the dump?

ANY help at all would be great, been stuck on this for almost a year now.
    Cheers,

Well to start off with i feel you have under gone the wanky brick many, many users have gone through this wanting to get their back ups running. To start off you would need a Hardware flasher, the teensy wouldn't work i recommend you getting a Progskeet as that in the first place is able to recover from the Wanky brick. You need to have a back up of your previous NAND and you should be good to go.

And what if one doesn't have a previous working nand dump? I mean for the people who haven't made a backup of their nands before the brick, is there a way to fix our bricks, or is it just a dream for now? : D

I seriously do not have an answer to that but i for one know that a Progskeet would be able to recover from the wanky brick. Let me rephrase that i just had a look on their and i don't think a NAND dump is required by ProgSkeet. But don't quote me on this. Have a look on their website, all i know is that it is able to fix the wanky brick

This is NOT a waninko, it was an rookie's attempt at a 3.55/3.41 moded firmware, i'm not even sure if recovery exists on the system due to the bad install. And no i DO NOT have a NAND backup at all, which i assume means its a no go?

Like i said i am not entirely sure about the NAND backup thing. Hey you could always sell it on ebay as spare parts. The bd-drive goes for a lot.

Thing is, i already switched the Bluray drive with a broken PS3 i got off ebay so i could play PS3 for the time being. I REALLY want to get it to work, im sure one day there will be a way to flash a fresh CFW straight to ROM with a NAnd flasher, time is the variable here.

So i currently i have two CECHC PHats, one with a bad Bluray drive (Not the chip, the physical drive) and other with a bad ROM...

I read it somewhere recently on a site i think...

But do you think that these new flashers will somehow open up possibilities with this in the future?
