The ps3 think it has two players

Our ps3 think that it is more than one player when playing fifa, nhl little big planet and a few more games. When trying to play two players it think it is three players. What can i do to get it right again?

If your controller is auto selecting player 2, just change the player number to 1 in the xmb while playing a game.

And make sure you don't have another controller or a neighbors controller connected (I had a neighbors turn my ps3 on by accident one day when he tried to turn on his, but his controller was still connected to mine).

Which one was it? Controller hooking up to the wrong number or a neighbor? lol.

Controller hooking up. Have got a bloutooth remotecontroll that hookt up. I had nerver thought of that possabilaty my self.

Ah. Pretty easy mistake now that everything is wireless.
