ps3 not loading to menu screen

hi all.

i was finding out how to access the recovery menu and manage to access it. i choosed option 1 - restart to menu.

the screen when black but no menu has appeared. and now i cant access the recovery menu again when i power the ps3 back up.

have i bricked it ? Using sys menu 3.55

i managed to get back into recovery menu but i had to format the hard drive

start again..

Unplug your ps3, wait 1 mintue, then plug it back in and turn it on. It shouldn't get stuck in the recovery menu unless a system file got messed up and it needs to be re-flashed to whatever firmware version your on.
