PS3 media files cannot be played due to cinavia!!

hello all,
i was watching a downloaded version of Just Go With It, and 2 minutes into the movie, it stopped playback and it gave me an error saying,

PLAYBACK OF THIS FILE IS NOT POSSIBLE, BECAUSE IT IS PROTECTED BY CINAVIA, FOR MORE INFO GO TO *blah**blah*, ERROR CODE 1

wtf just happened, saw this for the first time O_O

yeah its B$! Another aspect of Sony abusing their control. Now telling us what we can or cannot watch on OUR PS3! on my 360 even Microsoft don't have any security like that in place. The way around this is to simply use showtime player as it hasn't for obvious reasons got Cinavia embedded in it! and its quite a good homebrew app regardless!

just an FYI showtime is embedded in latest version of multiman if dont have one.

yea showtime solves the problem as long as u dont run it in the original player first or something atleast in my trials works fine tho showtime rocks
