I have downgraded my ps3 to 3.41 used minimus v.1.hex for my AT90usb162 board.
Installed the package files for Gaia Manager and it appears in the game section.

BUT...When i try to open it the screen goes black and nothing happens.
Ive tried using other game manager but has the same problem.

I have heard rumours that a faulty Bluray drive can possibly cause this. Can anyone shed some light on this as to whether it is true or not, as i have a faulty bluray drive.

I also could not play games downloaded from psn. same thing happens - screen goes black...

    Thanks.

I have the same problem, faulty blu-ray drive, get black screen when i try to start up open manager.
I guess the only way to fix this is to fix the blu-ray drive?
I have another ps3 with faulty connection between blu-ray and mother board, its strange that only a thew games work, most of them get an error message when i try to start them.
Good luck in fixing your problem.

Thats not a good sign the because i think my bluray drive logic board is broken. Hopefully there is a solution in the making so it doesnt need the bluray capailites to load game manager
