PS3 3.55 Kmeaw CFW Help - Black screen

Hi i'm obviously new here so i could use some help from the more experienced people on here so i have a ps3 250 HDD CFW 3.55 i have gaia manager ftp blackbox and comgenies file manger. i know the basics for getting games and software onto the ps3 but i dont know if the softare i'm using is suited for what i am doing because everytime i try to run a game without a disk it just black screens or returns home ( i cant have a disc in because my brd doent seem to be working this is a another problem but al get to that later) so is there any programs that would help me run games disclessly without problem?

Ok second problem my brd doesnt seem to be alive at all it wont make any noise and cant put discs in it all wires are connected properly with it so i dont know whats up with that any advice? i've thought about just getting a new brd but would that work coz i dont know if its the actual brd thats knackered or faulty wiring yet again any advice?

Okay because I'm in a good mood (just got my PC back) i'll give you some advice.

a) Your thread title is completely pointless, it tells nobody your problem and it implies screaming, so most people will either not bother looking or only come to troll you.

b) Don't abbreviate words like Bluray Drive, it can be very hard to identify this by some people and may result in you missing someones solution because they can't understand you.

c) Wrong section. There is a clearly labelled help section in this forum, which i am going to move this thread to.

d) You should give better consoe specific information like model number, previous issues, reasons for Buray Drive failure, have you tried fresh install from 3.55 OFW, etc.

Ok, seems that no-one really wants to help you out or try to, so................

Try using Multiman as it seems to do most if not more than other managers and it's what I use so at least with this I can help you.
Keep in mind that not ALL games will run discless

BD: Did you open it up at all in the past?
If you put a disc near the entrance, does the motor whirr?
If not, check your cables or replace them
If you've opened the drive in the past to remove a disc, the drive thinks it's still in load state so you'll need to reset the mechanism
Try another sensor from another drive or even try another drive

Hopefully this is a bit more help to you than what you're receiving.

no i havent opened up the blue ray drive yet coz i havent got the screwdriver to do that but i've had a look at the wires and they seem good.
i have put a disc near the entrance and there is no whir or anything.
think i might try replacing the cables.
i am thinking of buying a new drive but i'm just seeing if there is a resonable explanation as to why its not working

yeah i know not all games work discless but i ahve found a considreable about of that the games i'm trying will work discless and where do i get multiman and do i just delete gaia manager?

You don't need to delete Gaia. You can have as many different managers on your XMB as you like and pick & choose.
Just go to the Multiman thread on here and download the .pkg file

If you buy another drive, be sure to swap the BD circuit boards over or the games won't load

well i downloaded multiman and it hasnt helped one bit i still cant play games and this time its prompts me to put a disc in even tho i cant god i wish there was a way to trick the ps3 into thinking there was a disc in there lol

Are you trying to load from HDD?

If so, press TRIANGLE on the game you're trying to load to bring up the options
Then you'll see on the bottom left the options to load with/without disc, from INT/EXT HDD, etc
Direct Boot is also there

Report back once you've tried everything
