Problems backing up the PS3 hard drive
Problems backing up the PS3 hard drive –
I am running cfw 3.55 PS3ITA I try to back up my Hard Drive and it won't let me. I get "an error occurred during this operation". I made sure all backups that needed a split file were erased before I even started. If I can't back the hard drive that's fine but what I really want is my game saves on the new hard drive. Is there any way for me to recover them and let me use them again? I ftp'd my game saves onto the new hard drive but they don't now show up. If anyone could help withe either backing up my drive or just recovering my game saves I'd be thankful and I'll give you my sister lol. thanks
well, you can manually copy each save game into the HDD, from the save games tab in xmb. Press /\ to bring up the menu to save them, but this will not allow copying of some game saves as they are copy protected. You can use this app to copy those protected saves:
Thank you my friend I really appreciate it I will try this asap and I will let you know how it works out one way or another. Thank you again!
