PC to PS3 FTP Transfer SPEED problem !

hello ,

i have a kmeaw 3.55 fw ,
i use gaiamanager or blackbox for ps3 ftp , and for client i have 4-5 programs like filezila , cuteftp , turboftp etc ....

when i try to send a game to my ps3 , the max speed is 1.5mb/s .

i have the same speed from laptop on wista homebasic , and from pc win xp !

i use direct wire conection using a CAT 6 cable !

...what is the problem for this tipe of slow speed ?

If your using a direct connection with a standard ethernet cable instead of a crossover cable, your problem is there. Also, connecting them directly while using a standard cable instead of a crossover cable can potentially fry out the nics in both your computer and ps3, rendering them both in need of serious repair.

Using a crossover cable, or a standard cable with a network switch or router, you should get about the same speed; between 8-15MB/s, depending on your setup. I use flashfxp with a gigabit pc > 4 port network switch > ps3 with blackbox. I get about 14MB/s.
