new internal hdd stucked at 99% formating

hi
I try 3 diferent HDD and all stucked at 99% while formating. I`m on ofw 3.55, at the boot time ask for stick with 3.55 ....all done but when is trying to format....99% and freeze at 99%
What is wrong or what i did wrong?

PS:with original hdd works fine

yeah the same happened to me whilst upgrading hdd except i had freeze at 44% and 68%. iremoved the hard drive and used paragon hard disk manager and did a fresh format of fat32-that did the trick for me. hope this helps.
my original hdd also worked fine

Format the hard drive in your computer first, then try it again. Post back with your results.

I`m back with the results:
i formated all 3 drives under win7 computer management and 2/3 work
last hard i think have compatibility issues
all 3 hdd was 3.5" (i use extender cable and power from external rack)
the hdd with problems was a WD 15EARS (advanced partition ....maybe here is the problem)
the other hdd that now work: wd 640 aals black edition
