New to this. How to I put backups onto PS3 without the disk

I have the backups of games I bought awhile back, but lost the disk. Once I jailbreak the PS3, what do I do from there. What do I need to buy to put these backups onto the PS3?

Id rather not pay for a big HDD, but I did hear of some FTP thing that allows me to transfer directly onto the PS3 from PC, but Im not tech savy enough >.>

its not 2 much of a big deal, all u have to do is get black box ftp, or any other ps3 FTP client, and connect ur ps3 to ur network or to ur pc directly by using a Cross cable, u need to setup ur pc so it can acutally recognize the ps3 (by network ofc) filezilla software or another ftp software cuteftp etc ...
hope this info help, u can look around for some tutorials, PSX-Scene is ur best bet
