Looking to "hack" my fat PS3

So I have a fat ps3 thats running 3.30. What are my options from here? Id like to get into emulation and backups if possible. I did try google and youtube (yes im not much of a noob) but its seems sony locked down a lot of the info on this stuff.

Upgrade to 3.55 OFW then install KMEAW or Waninkoko V2 CFW.

Install the newest multiMAN and you're set.

My opinion, as above but stick to Kmeaw, everything I have tried works on it and its easily the most supported at the moment.

KMEAW all the way. You do not need to run altered eboots. Everything just works.

every1 in the entire ps3 jailbreaking world will recommend 1 and 1 thing only...KMEAW 3.55 CFW...here is the tutorial....

Ok i got mutiman up and running. how do i get games on? FTP? USB hard drive?

I get FlashFXP up and running but when i try to connect it says ENOTMOUNTED. Plz help
