linux on ps3 HD

I would if I had one.
I just haven't ever set one up.

I have to do some more digging, but I may not even be able to get started with this before I get off of this road trip.

IIRC, it doesn't work with HDMI and that is my only option ATM.

I will go dig up some older stuff to see if I'm correct.
If so, I will just try and get caught up with some reading on it.

If I can use HDMI, I will track down everything I need and try to jump headlong into it this evening.

alryt, an easy as solution for you mick, would be to invest in an external hard drive for linux coz its easier to transfer stuff like music and movies between your pc and ps3, yeah got mine running this way BUT *big pause* make sure you download the ryt linux version for the bootos or asbestos whichever (bootos is just the latest version for asbestos), bcoz im using bootos and mine keeps asking for DHCP, so I had to connect the router to the ps3 after setting up a whole lot of networks on the router lol but works alguds. I use linux for the media player because VLC a shetload better than the ps3 media player.

They made the later versions of linux not need the dhcp access, makes everything a lot easier but I ran out of bandwidth before I realised what I'd done lol.

what version should i download ? and i cant make folders were usb00 ect ? so were would i put the files ? i have got it workin oan a SD disk but it runs slow and i dont have a usb hub lol
