linux on ps3 HD

were do i put the files on for linux to run on the ps3 HD ? i when i put it on usb it goes on he root of it .. but not go a clue with the ps3 harddrive ?

Make a folder called "linux" on the root. where like hdd0 and usb0 and all that are, otherwise keep it on your usb if its an external hd.

well i try ti install this and it keeps wantin ti go on a usb stick and nor the ps3drive ? any ideas !!

You guys are killing me!!!!!

I have almost another 1 1/2 weeks before I can get back home to play with this stuff!

I'm REAL tempted to go ahead and just drop by the local electronics store and pick up a keyboard and start jacking with it today. I used to carry a spare keyboard in the rv, but it has gone the way of the old laptop I had.

That's actually what I was thinking.

I am just a glutton for punishment I suppose.

I've already found a keyboard for about $15.
I have to do some tracking down and downloading of a few files (I may already have them on this computer).

If I do it, It will be about 7:00 this evening (11:30 right now (my time)) before I can get started.

I also reallllly want Linux on my system.
