OBS: my ps3 is slim and it uses multiman...

Hello, sorry for that, but the online play is instable for now.
I recommend you to install 3.55 and Kmeaw CFW and wait for new updates.
If you try to connect now, you can be banned. So, stay offline for now.
Edit:
you can play online with backups. I'm not sure if it works with any game.

If anyone tells you to log into PSN on the computer, don't! You'll get the new TOS agreement that way too.

ok first off all...
DONT NOT!!! i repeat DO NOT...SIGN INTO PSN!!!! unless you want your ps3 banned, dont even think about going online on psn now.
And yes, xlink kai is the only way to play online now if you want, but just 1 prob...NO PLAYERS
...you'll get frustrated by the time you find a game.....but still you can try it if you want...

If you do use the xlink kai method, remember to block PSN access from your router, since the PS3 will still send information to PSN even without logging in. Go to your router settings and block "*.playstation.net", then plug in your ps3 and connect to xlink kai.

Wait, I was thinking to try xlink Kai myself but was afraid to let my ps3 online at all (I know about the connections the ps3 tries to make to phone home). Is it enough just to disable *.playstation.net, or should I also disable some more hostnames? I don't know, guessing here, *.playstation.com or .ca? Did anyone port sniff all connections from the ps3 yet?

Yes, traffic has been sniffed. The PS3 uses subdomains from playstation.net for all communication except for initial psn sign ups. So blocking *.playstation.net from your router should do it.

You would first have to update to 3.56 to play a legitimate game on the PSN. And since there is currently no way to downgrade back to 3.55 you would lose all of your backup and homebrew ability.
