    1) Put the file you just downloaded into C:\
    2) Plug in your external hard drive you want to format to fat32
    3) open comand prompt (for windows 7 click start and type "cmd" no quotations)
    4) Type "cd.." (no quotations) hit enter
    5) Type "cd.." (no quotations) hit enter (yes this means twice)
    6) It should now show up like C:\ in command promt
    7) Type "fat32format.exe" (no quotations)
    8) A bunch of stuff will scroll up about fat32format.exe
    9) Type "c:\fat32format.exe fat32format X:" (no quotations) Change X to the drive letter of your external hdd you can find out what it is by going to my computer
    10) wait for process to comeplete and say "Done" and then your finished

    For Step 9 i dont remember if you had to type "c:\fat32format.exe fat32format X:" or just "fat32format X:" try them both out its been like 2 weeks since i did my 2TB i dont remember, im going by a text document i left to myself incase i ever needed to do it again.

    NOTE: Remember Change X to the letter of your external HDD.
    Also: Can A Mod Put This Post In Guides Or Rename It To Tutorial Or Something I Just Relized It Almost looks like im asking how to lol

    Use the gui version of the fat32formatter and avoid noobs bricking their pcs as well as their ps3s, lol.

    That was my post I think, and its because I didn't quick format. Also whats the difference between full format vs quick format? Is doing full better or worse? I hope I didn't make something worse waiting 4 hours to format my 500gig hd.

    full format is just more time, wipes it better than a quickie. i usually do a full if there is something on the hdd i really want gone, like a virus or something. your drive should be fine.
