How Do I transfer game from ps3 to external harddisk??

Create a folder called GAMEZ in your ext hdd.
E.g. Z:\GAMEZ
then copy the what ever game into the GAMEZ folder
E.g. Z:\GAMEZ\BLES0123456

u can use homebrew , OpenManager or OpenCopy can both help u with wht u need
