How do I put emulators and roms on my PS3 3.55jb? –
I'm new here and I just successfully installed the geohots JB 3.55 on my PS3. I just wanted to know how to install emulators and rom games.
Thank you sooooooo much! I just installed the snes emulator and I went to a site to download roms and it works. I'm playing pilotwings for the super nes. Ahhhhhhhhh memories. I will try the others. Also do you think there will be a dreamcast emulator? Mines has broken for years and I'm trying to find an emulator. Anyways thanks again.

Roms to hdd –
Can I transfer the roms from the usb stick to the hdd?
What I did was. I used Blackb0x FTP and created new directories in HDD0 and called them roms0nes, roms0snes and so on and put the roms in there. You could also use a file manager like Awesome manager to copy and move files.
Place the blackb0x ftp server on a usb device and from the games interface of your ps3 go to install.
With the ftp server installed you can go to the folder in your ps3 with all your games (usually near the bottom)
All you need to do then is find hdd0, and make a folder for roms called like roms
Then in that folder make folders for certain systems like GBC = gameboy color etc.
When that's dont find yourself a nice emulator from ps3brew.com and you're all set!
+You can make modde lobbies with mw2 they're pretty fun too
hey im sorry for asking this dumb ? cause i cant check myself at the moment im copying a game but do i need a rom in order play the emulator or will it work without one? thanks for the help
You will need at least one rom as a rom is a copy of a game. The emulator is just a program that allows you to play roms.
