how do i go online ?

this may be a nooby question but i can't find an answer anywhere, i want to do challenge lobbies on mw2, but with a jailbroken ps3 you can't go online without having to do the patch. if i downgrade to 3.42 then apply the modded patch, update my ps3 firmware will i still be able to do the lobbies or do i need to do somthing else to be able to go online while remaining on 3.42 ?

first of all to have a jailbroken ps3, u need 3.41 firmware, second (after u hv applied the patch) u hv to update ur system to 3.55 firmware then you should be able to play online BUT U CANNOT DOWNGRADE THAT FOR THE TIME BEING

so if i have firmare 3.41 jailbroken, i apply the patch, update to 3.55 and then when i create a lobby it will be a challenge lobby ? but i wont be able to delete or change the patch until the new downgrade hack is out ?

ya thats basically rite, if i were u i wudlnt update at all, but if you want to get a good patch that allows verification, otherwise people can join ur lobby whenever they want, go to godlymodz.com and sign up, they have a huge list of ps3 MW2 patches

right im just making this absolutly clear, im on 3.50 fw, i downgrade to 3.41 jailbreak. apply the modded patch ( do i need 2 ps3 for this or can i do it by myself) then i update to 3.55 and i can still create modded lobbies but i can't downgrade to change the patch so im stuck with it.

yes ur rite and u can do it with one ps3

Its alot easier if you have 2 PS3s, as you can have one on 3.41 where you put the patch on, then another on 3.55 that you data transfer the patch to. This way you can always change the patch.
