How do I get started?

So I am new to Jailbreaking my PS3. I have read and read and everytime I do I get more confused. So I know 2 things to get started.

1. I need a custon USB
2. I need PS3 v 4.1

Ok, I have neither. But lets start with the first one. What USBkey do I need, where do I get them and then what? I found one called PS3Yes! Supposedly it works with PSGroove (which i understand is the open source implementation). I found it from here: http://www.r4king.com/ps-jailbreak-modchip-for-ps3.html Its reasonably priced. is this a good place to buy from and should I buy it? Their website (http://www.ps3yes.com) doesnt seem to be working which throws up a red flag in my book. If I do get this will it downgrade my PS3? Much help appreciated!!

If you have updated past 3.55 and you are currently on 3.56 or 3.60 then you'll have to wait for a new method as nothing will work for you.

If not then you can install the original 3.55 firmware and install a custome firmware over that such as Waninkoko's PS3 Custom Firmware 3.55 or Wutangrza PS3 Custom Firmware 3.55.

For backup support you will need Multiman.
