you semi bricked your ps3, dont worry.....turn off from the mains....unplug your ps3 and keep it in an open space for some time, i would recommend keeping it for half an hour to 1 hr or so. Then plug it back in...and try it. It should work.

By the way, if your PS3 is semi-bricked from a bad flash making your PS3 rest in the corner to cool down won't fix it. Firmware semi-bricks will remain semi-brick as long your PS3's not re-flashed properly.

I did a little google search for you and I found this, I don't know if it will help but heres the link: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=20904

    Hopefully it works for you.

What I'm scared of is that you have no output signal which will prevent you from seeing on your TV. But if you get no signal try to change the connection, like instead of using HDMI use A/V composite or componant and vice versa to see if that will get you TV signal. Else, you will have to wait till there is a better fix solution.

Then he got an overheating issue, not a bad flash brick. I would recommand him to get it cleaned, the heatsink is probably full of dust or something or even the thermal paste is becoming crackled. But nothing related to Rigg023's case here. He just admited to have flashed the geohot's version of the spoof by accident.

Peeer's right on this one. With a bad flash (the spoof replaces dev_flash files, so it is a bad flash if you use the wrong one), you need to install the firmware again. Sometimes you can do it from recovery, sometimes from factory service mode, and sometimes from factory service mode with a modified lv2diag. We'll see how far this one goes. I'd say it should be repairable using the instructions peeer provided, which is recovery mode.

Btw, peeer, is that the metldr key in hex color codes? Lmao.
