Fresh 3.41 Console. What is the best option?

Hello.

I JB my ps3 console using a psjailbreak dongle, but the dongle died (only the green light turns on during boot) and now I'm left with a fresh, unhacked 3.41 console.

What should I do with my console?

Do I upgrade to 3.55 and install CFW and wait for a backup manager to appear?

Is there a way to play back ups on a 3.41 without using a JB dongle?

same thing happened to me my ps jailbreak dongle broke anywhere i put it only the green light turned on. I updated to geohot 3.55-jb and i am running my backups fine using the castelvania lords of shadow method. Know to focus has turned onto the 3.55 jb so it hink your best bet would be 3.55-jb. Also some backups even work online
