Hi Guys!
My question is i forgot to get my back ups off my old smaller hard drive before installing the new bigger hard drive. i now have a 500GB drive installed and used to have the stock 100GB one in there.
QUESTION.
1.) When i plug my old small hard drive in via enclosure usb will my PS3 see all my old back ups i had and be able to transfer them to multi man?
My PS3 is still working obviously. I just installed a bigger hard drive due to the stock one being to small.
so is the above possible? or will it have to be wiped?
Any response will be appreciated..

God I wish this were true, we wouldn't have to format external hard drives to fat32 if this were possible.
Put your old hard drive back in the system, it should see it and allow you to transfer your stuff off of it. When your done, put the new one back in. As long as they were both formatted with the same firmware version, it should work.
