Do you like Geohot?

Ok guys so i had this conversation with my friend. he think that the majority of people hates GeoHot now. As in most of the poeple including the PS3 Users.
Since i do not entierly agree with it. i wanted to know peopel's actuall opinion.

I don't hate Geohot, I don't even know the guy. I'm sure he's cool.

Wow, who in the hell made a poll for this? Geohot has done so much for the scene it is ridiculous.

only ******s and noobs to the scene hate geohot. Not only have he done alot for this scene, he also cracked the Iphone scene wide open. He is one of the reasons now that people can hack these devices now.

anyone whodislikes Geohot are most likely the people who
a) updated to 3.60 dispite various sources warning not to
b) go on forums such as Kotaku and attackofthefanbuy and rant that geohot is the reason that they can't get kills on black ops (even though to this day there has been NO online b.o hacks)
or
c) are total sony fanboys who think that he shut down PSN and supports Piracy.

Geohot is nothing more then an attention wh0re. Now people will say: "bb bu but... you hax your pz3 cuz of geohotz..."

No... I was jailbreaking my ps3 long before geohot arrived, also if I would thank anyone for the custom firmwares, it would be failoverflow team. Those guys came, released and disappeared, not like geohot giving interviews and making pathetic rap videos lmao.

Are you kidding me Ian Thomas? He did a bit of work, got insider info, and then used that info to steal from others and get tons of attention just to boost his ego.
He has done far more harm for modding than he has done good, especially since he's made it clear he doesn't care if he damages your hardware or not if it means he'll be the "first" to release something (See: When he released a buggy jailbreak for the 4th gen iPhone just to get it out before Green Poison knowing full well they wouldn't be able to release their jailbreak because there were only two exploits like it at the time.)

Hate is a strong word.

I dislike him for seeking attention for his release of 3.55 keys and CFW. There is no need to attention ***** (c4eva doesn't feel the need to when he releases his modified DVD-ROM firmware for the 360), he probably got it into his head that Sony would welcome him with open arms, hire him into a top paying job and he would get all the girls for being a hacker (Last bit was slightly far fetched, but there you go).

The filtered word is pretty obvious btw.
