    Hey guys!

So I'm still a bit new to this, although all has gone well so far. Now I'm dealing with the fact that I'm out of room on my PS3's hard drive, so I need to start selectively moving games onto an external. I've bought an external and formatted to FAT32, but now I'm not sure how to proceed. I have the games (for now, anyways) saved on both my PC AND my PS3...so is it better to connect the external to my PC and transfer the games directly over to the external in Windows, or should I just connect the external to the PS3 and transfer the games from my PS3 to the external (I guess I'd use multiman for that?). Will both ways work? Will one way catch an oversized file issue and one not?

    Any help would be appreciated!

The windows > external method is better if your downloading your games. Multiman > external if backing up your games from disc.

On the external they need the same folder structure as internal.

Both will catch oversized file issues, just differently. Multiman will split the files automatically without knowledge, then give you an error message that it can't play split files. Windows will just say that the file is too large to be copied.
