Yes they can. Yes they will. Yes, they'll let you play online for awhile and give you a false sense of security first while they log other ps3s that are modded trying to get as many as possible in one shot. If you doubt that, look what MS did with the 360 ban waves. It's already been proven that they are looking back weeks into logs even for warnings. THEY CAN DETECT AND BAN YOU. For the last and final time before I start yelling at people, IF YOU CARE IF YOUR PS3 GETS BANNED, DO NOT GO ONLINE WITH ANY METHOD UNTIL $ONY ACTIVELY BANS PEOPLE AND SOMEONE COMES OUT WITH A STEALTH METHOD.

Seriously, just listen to Blazie. If you don't want to get banned, you're better off not going online right now. I currently do, but that's why I have two PS3s... if one gets banned that's what the other is for.

I'm done with this ****. I already updated to 3.56 for their sake and now they want me to update AGAIN with a new security. Im staying on 3.56 forever and if they ban me for dns tricks then i still have an ps3 that MIGHT get cfw and can do alot of games without online

I think you are right about the dirty logs; previously even though I had wipe history I didn't use it properly. I haven't been online since I got the warning email. Now 2 days ago (when ****psn 0.6 came out) I went online with a new PSN acct. This time I am more careful: 1) disconnect LAN cable, 2) run multiman, load the game, 3) run the game, 4) plug in cable. So far (for a day) no warning emails at the new PSN account. However I haven't been online since the PSN maintenance & ofw 3.60 update.

Yeah, that's alot safer that way. It's a pain, but its safer. Too bad your consoleid is flagged as already receiving the warning. I disconnected my ps3 from the net a week before the warning email, hadn't used my emulators in weeks, had multiman wiping logs on boot, never really signed online, and had another account on the ps3 I hadn't used in 3 weeks; both got the warning email, so I'm 100% sure that they were looking back at least 2 weeks. I expect them to do the same thing once another ban wave goes out.
